The above picture is old. And cropped for privacy. But he was an incredibly talented drummer. Once, we went to a club where he sometimes sat in with some bands. We were there just to see the bands that night, but when the player saw him, they begged him to sit in. He didn't have drums with him, and they didn't have a drummer. The kitchen staff brought out a huge soup pot, and he sat in and drummed with his hands on a soup pot, and the people at the cafe went crazy because he managed to make it sound awesome just by the way he positioned the pot to get the most resonance and did other magical drummer things and generally impressed even me, even though I had seen him play in so many places on so many kinds of drums.
No more stories now, at least not here. At least not now. See you around.
