Time flies, and so do birds. |
Usually I can write up some notes and set the story aside, but this one is taking over my thoughts. More and more scenes keep coming to me. I keep telling myself I have another story to write. I need to finish my other story, first. But...but, but, but! This story is taking over my brain! So how do I know when it's time to set aside the current story for later and go to work on the new one? I really need to pull out that journal and work through this.
This weekend I also got all of my stuff together for my upcoming Kaizen Muse Creativity Coaching certification class. I set up a very cool notebook using a disc binding system so I could have it exactly how I want it. So I guess I wasn't entirely unproductive since Wednesday.
For the coming week, here's what I plan to accomplish:
- Write 15 minutes at least 5 days
- Exercise 15 minutes at least 3 days
- Clean/organize 2 areas
- Work on my internet use schedule
- Set aside more time to visit other ROW-er's blogs

Can you possibly write TWO stories, at once.....? =D
You are oh, so very much more organized than I am, Kim. Wow! Have a lot of fun in your class. And have fun with the story you've found yourself inspired to do. It sounds like it was meant for you.
I've been pushing Shadow Unit on unsuspecting people for years. Guess I missed you somehow! Enjoy. :)
If the muse is pushing...maybe write out a few scenes from the new story, then take a step back and see if you can leave it there and go back to the first one? I do that sometimes and find that getting the details that I "know" I'll forget written out helps a lot.
Oh- and the arc looks cool! I am thinking I'm going to look into something like that when ever I fill this writing notebook.
