Second looks

Last night, a few hours after leaving the ruined collage to dry, I went back to it.  Not because I wanted to look at it, but because it's in my art journal, and I wanted to do a new page.  And you know what happened?  The collage was better!  It wasn't what had been in my mind at the outset, but it's nice!  I like it!  Sometimes things that look dire at first re really  not nearly so bad after you've given them a little bit of time and space.
