Wishcasting Wednesday--Transforming

This week, Jamie's question for Wishcasting Wednesday is "What do you wish to transform?"  This one is easy!  At least on some levels.  My answer is simple, or at least short, but there's so much complexity underneath.  For now, I'll just make the wish and delve into the underlayers a bit at a time, like peeling an onion.

I wish to transform my physical self--my body, my energy, my physical surroundings.  I am living in places that are very uncomfortable, and this keeps me from doing what I want to do.  My body is overly heavy, sluggish, has too much pain, too little energy.  I want to change that.  My house is cluttered, messy, unattractive, makes me tired and depressed just looking around at it.  I want to change that.

Where to start?  How to start?  How to get enough energy to do anything that might lead to a better physical existence including more energy?  I don't know those answers yet, but making the wish, that's my beginning.

Hi! As you wish for yourself, so I wish for you as well. Baby steps. I got healthy and lost weight a few years ago. Baby steps. You didn't find this lifestyle overnite and you can't change overnite ;0)

It is so true that it is seemingly "simple," but we all know how hard making changes for ourselves can be.
As you wish for yourself, I wish for you also!

As Kim wishes for herself, I wish for her also. One thing one step at a time I look forward to your transformation.

here's to lighter, clearer energy. just a thought, Kim, have you thought about smudging your space? sometimes the simple act of doing that gives me that little oomph to start clearing energy in a room...which leads me to get myself moving...which leads me to...(you get the idea.) ;) as you wish for yourself, i wish for you also.

As Kim wishes for herself, so Iwish for her also.

Getting rid of what you perceive as clutter has an invigorating effect. My dad used to tell me that the things we haven´t done tire us more than the things we have done.

Thank you for the great ideas and input you guys!

Marilyn, I hadn't thought of smudging to get me started. Great idea!

Paula, your father was so right. Knowing I desperately want all of this to be done while nothing is actually being done is really dragging me down.

As Kim wishes for herself, I wish for her also. I'm going to get healthy in the new year as well. And I have been slowly transforming my surroundings this past. It takes a lot of time, but well worth it. I have 2 ideas of how to start if you're needing a suggestion. First, walk. Find a place your comfortable and just walk. I've found that walking can be a huge spirit lifter. And secondly make a committment to throw something away every day. Find something that you can let go of or have no use for and throw it or give it away. Here's to our healthy transformed selves in 2011!!!

As you wsh for yourself, Kim, sso do I wish for you! :)

May you discover the beauty that is you! :)

In my experience, I find when I transform my surrounding by decluttering and organizing, I feel like I've already taken a big step.

May the wishing make it so! :)

Hi Kim! As you wish for yourself so I wish for you also...

Transform the inside and the outside will take care of itself...

How to start? Make a list of 10 things you love about yourself, your body, your space...

Love, Peace & Christmas blessings,
xoxo Valerie

Kim, I'm so glad you wrote this. You have expressed exactly how I am feeling about myself and my environment and generally my life. I read blogs of creative people for inspiration, but I don't feel right in myself. I long to transform, really transform - like your picture - and find my true energy and essence. I don't blog and don't do the wishcasting, but maybe to wish with you could make a start. As you wish for yourself, I deeply and truly wish for you also. This wish is sent with much love.
