Wishcasting Wednesday--Into Focus

Today, Jamie asks us, "What do you wish to focus on?" for Wishcasting Wednesday.

Ooh!  I know this one!

I wish to focus on me and the life I want to live.  I mean really focus--give it my time and attention and love and devotion and energy every single day.  I do all right in short bursts, plan a little, do a little, think a little. But then I get sidetracked or distracted or--way too often--discouraged.  And the things I want for myself--health, a strong body, a career I love that means something, a clean house, a regular writing life--they fall by the wayside. They become neglected.  They don't get done, they don't happen or come into being, because they don't get the attention they deserve.

So... selfish wish?  I hope so!  We say "selfish" as if it's a bad thing, but it really isn't.  It's just giving yourself the oxygen mask first so you are able to move beyond yourself and help someone else next.

I wish to focus on me!

Edit: A flat tire is calling me away, so if I don't get a chance to stop by blogs:
As you wish for yourself, so I wish for you as well!

I'm so totally in love with this wish. Girl, you just reached into my heart and wrote down my life... ((((XXXOOO))) "Me" who knew?! Love You Woman.
For all that Kim wishes for herself and the focus she desires for herself and her life, so too do I wish for this amazing person♥

You are so right Kim about the word selfish - let's instead call it SELF CARE!
