I am a writer. So why do I so often not write? Why do I put it off, ignore it, give it minimal time then try to write during periods when I know I won't have the energy to really put in the proper effort (like when I'm really tired and need to go to bed, for example)?
This month is National Novel Writing Month (NaNoWriMo). During November, I manage to put everything else on low priority and delve into my writing. I want to find the way to do this all the time. I know that I won't always have time to give my writing this much space and attention every day the way I do in November, but I desperately crave having this focus regularly during the rest of the year. So that's what I wish for--I wish to enjoy my writing and stories all the time, not just in November.

National novel writing month sounds great...as you wish for yourself i wish for you also.. enjoy your writing x
(p.s thankyou for letting me know about the link)
So many things can impinge on our time, esp. when all we want to do is mindless of everything, but the creation at hand.
I wish for you to enjoy each minute you have to write , through & beyond November!
As you wish for yourself, I wish for you also.
Hey, Kim! :) How's the Nano going? Are you in the flow?
I wonder if we writers sometimes forget that writing is one way our creative energy flows and that sometimes, that energy needs to - or wants to - flow in a different direction, you know what I mean? I can be a writer. But I can also be a cook! Or a painter! Or a gardener! Or a homemaker! :) Sometimes, when things are really good, I"m all of them at once! LOL
As you wish for yourself, I wish for you as well!
I am doing Nano too and tied it in with my wishcasting post today...
As you wish for yourself I also wish for you.
Enjoy the NaNoWriMo experience! I've yet to take part myself, but maybe one of these Novembers...
As you wish for yourself, so I wish for you also.
I deeply respect anyone who participates in NaNoWriMo, finisher or not. It takes an amazing amount of dedication to your craft just to try. Your writing is clearly important to you, so as you wish for yourself, so I wish for you also. <3
As you wish for yourself, I wish for you also.
Enjoy your stories - this month and every month! As Kim wishes for herself, I wish also for her.
As you wish for yourself, so I wish for you also.
Good luck with NaNoWriMo. Someday I will try it. I imagine the kids will be out of the house & I will lock myself in a room for 3 months...lol
As Kim wishes for herself, so i wish also:)
Kim,
As you know 5 minutes of time each hour you are awake is the start of ending procrastination. A timer is your friend. As you wish for youself, I wish for you also.
As Kim wishes for herself, so I wish for her also.
I can't wait to see what you write, I know that feeling of putting it aside. I think Leah's creative everyday is helping motivate me to create each day, so far I have done 3 days in a row.. fingers crossed.
May you sink in and find the joy in writing your story.
Hey Kim, hopefully we can join forces and be of some use in your writerly endeavors. I know that since last November, I have made space in my life for the writing so I desperately feel I must do.
It produced the first novel of my life and a handful of characters that will not leave me alone for the life of me.
I only hope I can keep the pace up from here. This November has been a struggle to leave the others and find new names, new faces, and new spirits in which to take an interest.
