I have been going through a down time in the past few months. Sorry to have been away for so long. I do hope some people are still reading.
For today, I just wanted to mark an anniversary. On this day in 1789 the first American novel was published. W.H. Brown's Power of Sympathy. I have to admit I've never read it. Still, it's worth a note.
