Vad about

I just learned of something that has been going on in cities for quite a while now; I just never heard of it. It’s called “vadding" or "urban exploring" or sometimes called real-world hacking. (The two links are a very small sample of the info out there.) People go around to places like abandoned brick yards and the spaces beneath bridges or into tunnels, and they take pictures and document their find. There's a zine that's subtitled "the zine about places you're not supposed to go."

It’s really kind of a cool phenomenon, and it’s going to need to get into a story of mine very soon. I don’t think it will work into the story I’m doing for NaNoWriMo, but soon after that it’s going to need to show up. Maybe it will even be a focal point for a story. A lot of creepy stuff could happen on these sorts of adventures…
